THE CHALLENGE
As a growing organisation, aXcelerate wanted to strengthen its leadership pipeline by enhancing the development experience for emerging leaders. While an existing leadership pathway was in place, there was an opportunity to better align the framework with aXcelerate's values, incorporate current leadership research and ensure learning activities were practical, relevant and targeted to employees preparing to step into leadership roles.
MY APPROACH
Embedded aXcelerate's organisational values throughout the leadership pathway to reinforce expected leadership behaviours and workplace culture.
Aligned leadership content with current research and best-practice frameworks to ensure relevance, credibility and practical value.
Designed scenario-based learning activities that encouraged reflection, discussion and immediate workplace application.
Tailored pathway content to support employees transitioning into leadership roles and developing core leadership capabilities.
Enhanced learning experiences through practical workplace examples and action-planning activities that supported ongoing leadership development.
Reviewed and refined existing content to improve consistency, learner engagement and alignment with organisational objectives.

Reviewed and evaluated the existing leadership development framework.
Worked closely with the Human Success team to understand leadership priorities and organisational goals.

Ensured learning activities were practical, workplace-focused and immediately applicable.
Refined the structure and progression of the pathway to support long-term capability development.
THE IMPACT
The enhanced leadership pathway provided a clearer and more structured development experience for emerging leaders while strengthening alignment with aXcelerate's culture and values. By combining evidence-based leadership principles with practical workplace application, the program helped create a stronger foundation for future leaders and supported a more consistent approach to leadership development across the organisation.
